| Alienation clause | A clause closely associated in meaning with Due-On-Sale Clause and Acceleration Clause. An alienation clause in a mortgage can give the lender the option to call the loan (declare the entire balance due) when the proper ty owner transfers ownership, title or interest without the lender' s consent. | |
