Many critics say our last "normal" market year in real estate was 2004.  This is a quick glance at the SOLD data for Nampa, Idaho:

So, even though there are fewer homes being sold in 2008 as compared to 2004, the average sales price is approx. 43% higher for Nampa homes sold!  You might also notice that the average selling time has decreased by about 3 1/2 weeks!

2008 prices have dropped by only 8% from 2007 (First six months).

The Nampa home market is strong. Value is overall sustaining. Homes are selling faster.  There just aren't as many buyers in the market right now.... GO BUY A HOUSE!  It's a great time for investors to be taking advantage of this market.  Sellers are motivated and there are lots of good deals on Nampa real estate and homes in Nampa Idaho for sale.
